Electronic health record security is a high-interest topic for many health care

July 8, 2024

Electronic health record security is a high-interest topic for many health care informatics professionals. Individual patient record security and safety is frequently mandated by law, but additional security threats from hackers or medical identity thieves continue to be a threat. For this formal paper submission, please review emerging security threats to health care information systems or potential threats to individual patients and records. Then, develop the paper using the following guidelines.
Paper Guidelines:
This scholarly, formal paper has a maximum of 10 pages, including the title and reference pages (s). At the doctoral level, you must be able to synthesize content, providing the reader with significant details in a succinct manner. The paper must be typed in 12 Font, Times New Roman or Arial, double-spaced, and written in accordance with the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition referencing guidelines. Most formal writing, including APA papers, uses the third-person point of view. The third person makes ideas sound less subjective since it removes direct reference to the writer. It also creates a more generalized statement.
As your professor, I utilize Turnitin as a learning tool for you as a student. This function is activated for the assignment, but your paper is not stored. You must achieve less than 25% in the Turnitin similarity report percentage for it to be graded. Please submit as many times as needed to achieve that, and I will take your last submission to grade.
Essential Requirements of this Assignment:
Content (70 Points):
Follow APA guidelines for headings. You may also add subheadings if desired.
