Each student will develop and complete a Human Resource Diversity Training Manual/project due by Week 9. This will involve the selection of a product or service (from a real or fictional company) and the development of a Human Resource Training Manual which a business professional would use to train an employee to understand the company and be able to present the product or service to a prospective customer/client in order to successfully attain a sale. The Human Resource Training Manual is in place to teach people to work in teams effectively, as well as to show how to theoretically apply course learning Human Resource outcomes/lessons in a realistic and accurate way.
ROLES and Responsiblities. Research and develop a section of your Human Resource Diversity Training Manual that discusses specific roles and responsiblities of Human Resource Professionals in multinational organizations. List a MINIMUM of five roles and responsibilities and expound on the importances of each of the roles and responsiblities with the support of a minimum of FIVE library journal article in-text citations or SHRM article in-text citations and references. Do NOT use direct quotes. Remember to use professional language for training purposes as the voice for your HR Diversity Training Manual. Use five sources minimally for this section. (Up to 40 points if thorough and three scholarly sources are properly cited in this section). This training manual is for a realistic pretend organization that you and your team agree upon.
Human Resource Management Policies and Practices for supporting Cultural, national, and global environments. Research and develop training content that helps company trainees understand important HR management policies and practices and expound on each to describe how they THOROUGHLY are affected each of the following: Cultural, national, and global environments. In other words, what are companies doing and expecting within organizations that are done because of culture, national expectations, and global expectations (Up to 40 points if thorough and FIVE scholarly resources are cited in this section). Create five policies and or practices for a pretend organization, but realistic organization that show understanding of supporting and being influenced by culture, national expectation, and global environments.
Workplace Strategy To Support Diversity Training. Explain factors for effective and ineffective human resource management practices, especially in the context of cultural complexity. How will your company specifically build and manage strategies to support a diverse workforce that is socially and culturally responsible? Research the scholarly literature and build an explanation in your training manual and specific training to help trainees understand the importance of a diverse workplace and to help each trainee understand the strategies used in your presented organization used to support a socially and culturally responsible wokplace (Up to 40 points if FIVE properly cited and referenced scholarly resources (including SHRM) are used and examples are thorough.)
INDIVIDUAL TEAM MEMBER THOROUGH Analysis. Each student must identify themselves by name in this section of your Training Manual and THOROUGHLY discuss aspects of your personality and discuss some biases that may be your own or that of other people that managers should be aware of related to your personality and biases identified. Thoroughly discuss each bias (minimum of three) and how it can affect organizational goals, policies and practices with specific examples and support from the literature. Use a minimum of THREE academic resources, in-text citaitons, and references for this section. Be thorough and thoughtful (40 points if thorough or NOTHING if not thorough –This section will be individually graded for each student. So your final grade may be different than the rest of your team.)
HR Training ACTIVITIES. Create an experiential training activity for each of the following dimensions of diversity (a. Sexual Orientation; b. Religion; c. Disabilities; d. Cultural Humility) by describing the activity with step-by-step instructions for each activity. Share a rational for each activity on why it is important for each trainee to understand the concepts of each activity. Develop related debrief questions for the activity to help training participants understand subtle aspects of the lessons of each activity (40 points if thorough).
