Each student will complete an evaluation plan based on the goals set
in the psychosocial assessment and motivational interviewing video. Use an evaluation method
covered in class. Submit a 1-page evaluation plan. More information will be provided in class.
Review the evaluation power point and chapter 12. Choose one of the evaluation methods (direct observation, self-anchored, standardized measures) that you would use to evaluate your motivational interviewing progress. In other words, how would you know if it helped the client or not. For the assignment you will need to define the method you choose (citing a source), explain why you chose it over the other methods and how you would use it to measure your client’s progress (how effective the MI is for the client). Remember, the purpose of evaluation is to see if the intervention is effective or not. Since it was not built in to the assignment this semester, this is just a hypothetical situation. You do not need actual data but you should be able to explain the process you would use if actually evaluating how effective the intervention was.
*** BE SURE TO DO THE DiRECT OBSERVATION EVALUATION PLAN: The problem was vaping while finding out she was pregnant. I included the PowerPoint and the script of the video we have done since I can’t include the video. I also need an outside reference to support the evaluation and the PowerPoint doesn’t count
