Each student will be required to write a reflection paper based on their experience
coaching informed by class, instructor, and self-feedback. This will consist of 4 sections; strengths of
their coaching (backed by evaluations), weaknesses of their coaching (backed by evaluations), reflections
on how other groups coached, and finally an overall course reflection. This assignment will be typed,
double spaced, size 12, times new roman font, and should be 4-5 pages. APA formatting (7th edition) and
referencing will be required. No quotations will be allowed.
Strengths of my coaching 
Chelsea: I think you did an excellent job showing your personality when coaching. You have a very relatable presence as you were very comfortable in the weight room. Strengths: You did a great job leading when at the board. You could tell you were very comfortable in front of students and taking charge of the lift. You had great consistent energy throughout the lifts. Things to improve on: There were times when your group would demo or show a different variation from the other coaches. This created some confusion with the athletes and among the coaches. As you progressed through you improved upon this but there were still times where communication as a group seemed to be a bit disjointed. You tended to overpower the others leading to overcoaching. Overall you did an excellent job! I am proud of how you progressed throughout this assignment and I look forward to seeing you progress.
Weakness of their  coaching 
You did an great job with program design. Couple things to note: 1. Warm ups at times were slow. It is tough to get into a main block when you are trying to ramp up the intensity during the work sets. 2. Flow was ok. You can tell you know what it should have looked like, but at times execution was not there. 3. Make sure you understand how to pair exercises. You would pair up 2-3 coaching intensive exercises together. While you had 3 coaches this makes it work, but then you have to make sure all the attention needs to be on every exercise in the block. This makes life harder on the coaches and athletes as they do not know the intention of the block. 4. The intensities seemed a bit off compared to the sets x reps and theme of your lifts. Overall this was a great job! You made the modifications necessary and really improved as the sessions progressed.
