Providing a summary allows you to present your conclusions and opportunities for future research. You review and communicate the summary in the papers. You present visual representations of the data to give meaning to the raw data.
In order to successfully complete this exercise, you should be able to:

Answer these four questions. Put your answers in a new Word documents named WS6-1 Answers.
Do you update page numbers in the TOC before or after the summary section (Before or After)?
Facts and interpretations from the analysis drive conclusions and recommendations (True or False)?
If the research data set is small, one opportunity for future research is to gather a more exhaustive set of data to analyze (True or False)?
What are the three major sections of the summary?
Each of the four questions is worth 15 points, for a total of 60 points possible for this assignment.

6.2 Assignment: Pick Additional Data Set
Getting Started
Learning a technique is one thing. Using that technique on a whole new data set is a greater achievement and shows a maturity in the skill. This assignment challenges you to use the new skills on a new situation. Which variables to use within the data set is up to you.
In order to successfully complete this assignment, you should be able to:

Pick a data set from the original list that is not one you have used so far.

Choose whatever variables and raw data you need to perform a chi-square analysis.
Perform a chi-square analysis on that data set.
Write up the analysis to include the summary table and the common statistics involved.

The Excel file will be based on the Chi-Square 10 by 10 template.

In your report fill out the summary section, including any conclusions and future research that should be done.

At this point you have been introduced to a whole range of economic theory, covering the gamut of both micro and macroeconomics. Now is time to put that newfound economic knowledge to work!

Use the full set of microeconomic and macroeconomic tools to completely analyze cases from all aspects of the economic spectrum.

Below is a list of five American companies. After choosing one of them, use the following article What Is Competitive Advantage? as a basis for examining the company’s competitive advantage.

Compile a post that demonstrates how your firm of choice could use economics to either create a competitive advantage in the marketplace or perhaps reinforce its already-achieved competitive advantage. Make sure you address the full range of economic issues, including scarcity, markets/competition, pricing power (price elasticity), costs, market structure, macroeconomic climate, and global market positioning. Note, not all of these companies have a global strategy in place. Should they? Explain your answer
Your initial response should be 400 to 600 words in length and include two academic sources that are properly cited. It is due by the end of the fourth day of the workshop.
Now conduct a critical analysis of a posting by two of your classmates’ by the end of the workshop.
The topic of your discussion response should be your classmates posting and should be written as if you were reviewing his/her posting in an academic journal. Your discussion response should, therefore, answer the following questions as applicable:
Were your classmates arguments articulate and logical? Were the facts correct?
Was the interpretation your classmate provided reasonable and consistent with experts in the field? Was your classmate consistent with both the substance and intent of his/her references?
The focus for your critical analysis is not whether or not you agree with your classmate, but how well his/her position was presented. Each response should be at least 200 words in length and cite two academic sources. Please strive to make your discussion responses ones that cause iron to sharpen iron.

View the video PIMCO in which they mention five key trends that will be affecting the post-COVID global economy.
Building on those five key trends and using your choice of company from Discussion 6.2, assess how well your company of choice is positioned to succeed (or fail!) given the context of these trends. You will complete a five-page paper expanding on the points you made in Discussion 6.2. Again, make sure you address the full range of economic issues, including scarcity, markets/competition, pricing power (price elasticity), costs, market structure, macroeconomic climate, and global market positioning, this time with an expanded view. You can achieve this by asking the questions, “Where are they in terms of scarcity, markets/competition, pricing power, costs, market structure, and the U.S. and global economies?” You should use at least three recent sources from OCLS or other recent, credible information. Make sure it is consistent with APA standards.
A minimum of five sources is required, at least three of which are scholarly.
Use proper spelling, grammar, and APA formatting for your analysis paper.
