DISCUSSION GUIDELINES
The discussion forum plays a vital role in this course. Discussion questions pertaining to assigned course readings will be posted on Canvas on a weekly basis.  You are required to submit discussion posts which must be written in your own words (not to exceed 500) and supported with scholarly, peer-reviewed articles. Your writing must be of a scholarly nature (no use of slang language).  In order to keep the discussion forum active, respond to one of your classmate’s posts on a different day in a manner that will further the discussion such as asking a question or offering new insight into what they have already established. All posts must have an APA style of citation.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING DISCUSSION QUESTION
Specific instructions pertaining to the discussion forum can be found below:
All discussion posts must be submitted by 11:59 pm of their due date.
The original response should be a minimum of 350 words.
Users must post before seeing replies
Appropriately cite any of the references used to fully answer the questions. Use proper APA writing style. In addition, correct spelling, grammar, and style are expected in all scholarship and academic writing.
Respond to at least one (1) of your classmates with a minimum of 75 words on a different day.
Please note that your response must include APA Citations and References
Your comments should facilitate a discussion and highlight your own thoughts. During the discussion, respect diversity as the aim is to create and sustain a safe learning space for all. Derogatory and sarcastic comments and jokes that marginalize anyone is fundamentally unacceptable.
