Hello, in this paper you must use the readings I have provided and use them to make an argument. You can find the question that needs to be answered under the filename questions for reading response. This is an essay format so you must describe and make a claim when answering the questions. Please no outside sources only use the 4 sources I have provided in order to make the argument. Here are some key points to keep in mind when answering the first question: it just means to discuss the minimal group studies and results which can be found on Spears Otten 2012. For the second question, discuss both concepts of the social identity which are the knowledge of group membership, and the emotional significance of it to an individual which can also be found on Spears Otten 2012. Now for the last question you should explain the results of the minimal group studies and in describing it the most important thing is what is absent and what is present. People are just categorized arbitrarily and there is this effect in which discriminanation is nonetheless present and all you have is the category which is important to note; this can also be found on Spears Otten 2012. As you can see that is going to the main article that you will be using but just skim through the other ones especially the one titled Mason 2018 ch1, and Tajfel 1970 which discusses the Experiments in Intergroup Discrimination which is what can help you answer question 3.
