This is a start to the above question you may add to it or just start fresh.
According to Healthy People 2030 (U.S Department of Health and Human Services. n.d) healthcare access involves both having the means to receive healthcare such as insurance, along with being able to physically get to or have a primary care provider. Further, about 1 in 10 Americans do not have health insurance which means that they will avoid obtaining treatment due to financial concerns (U.S Department of Health and Human Services. n.d). Finally, even those who are insured may not have a primary care physician or may be too far from a primary care physician which further reduces those who receive primary care and preventative care to ensure adequate health (U.S Department of Health and Human Services. n.d).
