Teacher Interview: Discipline
You will develop paper following an interview with one or more teachers. Once you complete the interview(s) you are to summarize your findings and then incorporate what the research says about effective classroom discipline (base it on the age group that is taught, i.e., did the teacher(s) you selected teach elementary, middle or high school). Find 2 academic sources that also addresses discipline in the classroom.

Your paper needs to be at least 2-3 pages in length- not including the Title Page or the Works Cited Page

Interview one or more teachers and ask the following or similar questions:
What is your approach to discipline in your classroom?
What is the school wide policy about student behavior and discipline?
When and how do you introduce your discipline plan to your classroom?
Do your students participate in setting rules and consequences in the classroom? Why or why not?
How do you involve parents in your discipline approach? How do you solicit their support?
How do you handle students who do not respond to your discipline?
