Read the book and write a book report. The book report should be 2 to 3 pages long and be written in a simple, concise, clear style. The report must be typed, double-spaced, and in 12 font size, Times New Roman font.

You should thoroughly answer these questions:
1. What is the name of the book?
Who is the author? Who is the publisher? How many pages are in the book? Who is the illustrator?
2. What kind of book is it?
Fiction (i.e. Realistic Fiction, Historical Fiction, Legend, Fable, etc.)? Non-fiction? Biography? Picture Book?
Use information from your textbook to clearly classify what kind of book it is. Also, mention the different elements in the book that determine what kind it is.
3. What age and grade level do you think this book is appropriate for?
Explain the appropriate group that children can/should be able to read or understand the content of the book.
4. Discuss the pictures and illustrations in the book.
Give a detailed explanation of the kinds of illustrations are in the book (i.e. watercolors, collage, lines & washes, etc.)
1. Who are the top three or four characters? Tell me about them. Why are they important? List them and say a little about each one. Fully describe their characteristics in a detailed format.
2. Tell what the book is about. Summarize the plot.

Tell why you liked or did not like it. Was it too hard or easy to understand? Was the vocabulary too hard? Would you recommend it to a friend? Did you see a movie or video of the book? How is it different from the real book?
How would you judge the author? Was the story something you could relate to or was it not connected to your real life? This could be one to several pages. Do a good analysis.
8. Tell how you would use this book in a classroom.
What types of activities would you do with this book? Be creative. Give and describe at least 3 different activities that you could do with a classroom of children.
Be sure to include the following:
