Assignment Description
In this assignment, you will explore a social issue, agency need, or client or community problem and prepare a PowerPoint presentation about the theories and procedures needed to inform your implementation of an intervention or plan to address that chosen issue or problem. The theory selected should be one presented in the Human Behavior in the Social Environment 1 and 2 courses. Further, the theory should explain how the final project will be implemented based on needs assessment, organizing strategy, or community empowerment.
Assignment Instructions
For this assignment, refer to the Essay Terms Explained Study Guide (linked in the Resources) to help you complete this assignment, and address the following assignment criteria:
Select and discuss a human behavior theory to address a social issue, agency need, or client or community problem. Refer to the definition of “Discuss” in the Essay Terms Explained Study Guide.
Demonstrate leadership through providing evidence-based research supporting your choice of the human behavior theory.
Describe how the chosen behavior theory will be applied to the social issue, agency need, or client or community problem based on the needs assessment, organizing strategy, or community empowerment.
Explain how you will implement the intervention, outlining the proposed steps and procedures that will be applied to address the issue or problem.
Apply relevant ethical standards, including integration of ethical and effective use of technology, with respect to the intervention plan formulated to address a social issue, agency need, or client or community problem.

APA formatting: Resources and citations are formatted according to current APA style and formatting standards.
