This week, we learned about the differences between static and interactive data visualizations. While both are useful in communicating information, each of these styles of data visualization has a different purpose and impact that should be considered when selecting one style over the other.
Create an assessment of storytelling effectiveness when using static and interactive data visualizations, making sure to include the following information elements in your paper:
-Describe data-driven digital storytelling as an approach to the communication of both simple and complex information to stakeholders.
-Describe the differences in interactive and static data visualizations in the following areas: design considerations, appropriateness, and effectiveness in storytelling.
-Describe different concepts of design, and principles of composition, and differentiate between the impact of each type of data visualization on the target audience.
-Include information about similarities and differences between interactive and static data visualizations in the topics of affordances, accessibility, aesthetics, and acceptance.
