Please do these steps:
(1) You will need to select a dataset for this project. It is recommended that the dataset be a product-related dataset which means it would be a dataset that has data on a company that designs and produces products, data on users of products, or data on evaluations of products, etc. Please select a dataset from any source. For example, you can download a dataset from the website kaggle.com where you can create an account for free and download any dataset. You can select a dataset from any source, and it does not have to come from kaggle.com.
(2) In Canvas in the Week 7 Module, look at the “Project Checklist” defined on slides 14-23 in the PowerPoint slide package named “BANA 290 Product Lifecycle – Class session 7 – Summary.pptx”.
(3) Apply as many steps as possible from the Project Checklist to your dataset. You have some flexibility in deciding which elements of the Project Checklist are the best fit and most useful to apply to your dataset. As a guideline, it is recommended that you apply at least five different analysis techniques from the Project Checklist to your dataset.
(4) Define the goal for your project and identify which variable is the dependent variable and which variables are the independent variables.
(5) You can use Python, SAS, or any combination of them to analyze your dataset.
(6) Create a PowerPoint file that includes all the elements of the Project Checklist that you applied to your project including your goal definition, screen prints of all your Python and/or SAS results, conclusions, etc.
