You may need to define social media or find and cite a commonly accepted definition of social media. Examples of how social media brings people together or drives them apart need to be specific, detailed, and tailored to your audience. Depending upon the position you take, you will need to address how social media could drive people apart or bring them together.) You must have at least four sources for this essay. You may not use any essay (or material) from the textbook as a source. You will use at least four sources from the Motlow State Community College library. You will locate, evaluate, and then reference these sources properly. Make sure your essay has a clear audience. Direct your paper to an educated, informed, and interested audience. The audience for this essay is parents or young adults. The goal is to persuade the reader to consider the issue from the writer’s position. Your paper must be in MLA format, including in-text citations and a Works Cited page. Your essay must be in 12-point Times New Roman Font, typed, double-spaced, and all pages numbered. You must have at least seven (7) fully typed pages (If you write less than seven -7- fully typed pages, you will not receive a grade above 70 on the essay. No exceptions). You must use proper grammar and correct spelling. Submit your paper to the Assignment Folder.
