Critical Thinking Activity: The Futurist Projects – The World in 30 Years
In 30 years the business world will be significantly different. Your project is to use the knowledge base in this class which include your learning on business structures, financing, organization, and management to look at emerging technologies, report on them from a business sense as to their current status, and project what their future will be like into our future.
Choose one of the projects from the list below and create a paper with the following characteristics. using the description in the POD Class: Excellent Paper Writing Tips.
Your paper should  present your information as a three to five-page paper using 12-pitch font using business style format which includes:
A cover page with the project title, name of the class, student, and professor (not part of the page count);
The paper is to be left-justified;
The paper is to be single-spaced with non-indented paragraphs;
The paper should be double-spaced between paragraphs;
Footnotes are not necessary; and
A separate reference page with at least three references other than the textbook (not part of the page count).
This format is described in more detail in the POD Class: Excellent Paper Writing Tips and the accompanying PowerPoint slides which are available for your review.
This is a paper for an individual student. If you choose to do so you may complete this as a group. If you choose to work with other members of your class on this project. If you and other members choose to work together you will create a paper with the same parameters as above but a longer length of four to six pages.
If you work as a team, all members of the team must participate in the writing. Each member will have an opportunity to evaluate the other members of the team and the evaluation will account for 25% of the grade for this project.
All submissions are through Canvas. Do not email them to your instructor.
A Personal Evaluation or a Peer Evaluation are due one week after the submission date for this assignment. If it is completed as an individual, submit a Personal Evaluation – which is a brief three to five sentence personal perspective of the project. If it is completed as a GROUP, submit a Peer Evaluation which form the=at uses a five point scale to evaluate your team mates.
