Organizational Behavior and Management Assignment #1
Part 1: First, select a broad topic from the list below:

Part 2: Next, you must find and read 20 articles from scholarly journals about this topic. Your expectation regarding these articles is two-fold.
1. First, create citations for each of your 20 articles. You may use the “Citation” option on Google Scholar, but your citation MUST (40pts, 2 pts per citation):
a. Be in APA format, and alphabetical order by first author’s last name. Also use Times New Roman size 12 (It’s less important to have correct comma placement, or use of italics, but the order of information should be consistent)
b. Include the following: author names, article name, journal in which article is found, year of publication
2. A 1-2 sentence description of what was learned from that article. You may NOT copy and paste ANYTHING directly from the article. Anything written in these sentence must be in your own words. No quotes are allowed and no plagiarism is allowed. Quotes or plagiarism will result in a zero for this entire section of assignment (20pts, 1 pts for each description).
Part 3: You must write a full 5-7 sentence paragraph responding to each of the following questions:
1. Try to summarize what you’ve learned about your topic (10pts). Make broad statements such as “the general findings are that surface-level diversity is generally unrelated to organizational performance (CITATION IF NEEDED).”
2. Which topic within your broad topic will you be investigating further (10pts). For example, if your topic was diversity, you might pick a topic such as “ageism in organizations” or “diversity’s role in job satisfaction”. Then, describe what you learned about this topic from the articles you read, and why you find the topic interesting. Finally, explain how your topic could be meaningful to organizations.
