Now, you will explore various ethical decision-making models (also called frameworks) that are useful for analyzing ethical dilemmas.
For this Assignment, you will create a narrated PowerPoint presentation (PPT) about ethical decision-making models for new I/O psychology practitioners who have a limited understanding of how to address ethical dilemmas in the field. The purpose of this assignment is to help you become knowledgeable about how to use different ethical decision-making models and to help you develop virtual presentation skills, which you will need when working in or consulting with organizations as an I/O psychology practitioner.
To prepare for this Assignment:
Read page 164 in Chapter 8 of the APA Handbook of Ethics in Psychology, Chapter 2 and Appendices A and B in the text, Business Ethics: An Ethical Decision-Making Approach, and the article, “Making Choices: A Framework for Making Ethical Decisions.” Examine the ethical decision-making models described in these resources and consider how each can be applied to an ethical dilemma.
View this week’s media. Think about how each step of the ethical decision-making model can be used to resolve the ethical dilemmas and legal issues that may arise when practicing I/O psychology.
