Create a buusiness plan for a business or non-profit organization. The business can be in any legal industry and located anywhere. All aspects of the plan need to be as realistic as possible. Research demographics, market conditions, industry analysis, needs of the business, associated costs, etc.
The business will be your full time job. When you do business plan make sure that you include your salary.
– Plan needs to be 4-5 pages long. APA format. For analysis do your best to find reasonable estimates. Use supporting documentation when possible. Use busniss language and vocabulary. This document is what you will submit to investors, so be as professional as possible.
1. Introduction – breif synopsis of what your business is and why it will be successful. This is not your executive summary, so it shouldnt focus on all aspects of the business plan. Figure out the reason there is a need for you rbusiness and focus on why it will be successful.
2. Completing Company and Industry Analysis:
-what is the legal form of your business? Is your business a sole propreiotoship, a partnership, or a corperation?
-Describe any necessary licenses or permits that are required for your business and your plans for obtaining them.
-Will your business be an independent business, a takeover of an existing business, an expansion of an existing business, or a franchise? If you are dealing with an existing business, how did your company get to the point where it is today?
-About the company
-Industry analysis – show understanding of the industry and the environmental factors that are affecting it. Trade associatations, publications, and anything else that show you know where to go for your information and support is valuable. Who are your competitors? Have any other businesses recently entered or exited the industry? Why did they leave? How will the business be profitable?
3. Establishing the organixational Structure for your business. Manufactoring and Operations.
-Location and space requirement, equiptment, labor force and inventrory control.
4. Determing you Human Resource Requirement.
5. Creating a Marketing Plan
6. Preparing your Financial Plan
7. Executive Summary.
