You may NEATLY sketch the system on a blank piece of 8.5×11 paper using a straight edge as required. It is preferable that you use a software program that allows diagram drawing. Visio, Power Point, Excel and Word are all examples of software that would be great for this assignment.

Outline a plan for introducing LEAN at Quality Parts Company.
In your answer, do more than just create an outline of the plan for LEAN introduction. Explain your thought process; why are you making the outline the way your are. Really try to put yourself in the shoes of the Operations Manager that is attempting to make this change.

You are studying Supply Chain Management…. why are manufacturing processes studied so much in supply chain management?
In your answer, use a minimum of 300 words to explain the relationship between manufacturing and supply chain management.
A perfect answer to this question will demonstrate to me that you researched into the meaning of supply chain management and the real relationship that exists between supply chain managers and the operations department.
