A Literature Review is a summary of published research literature relevant to a topic under consideration for research). The research is usually organized topically.
(Answers to each question should be at least 3 sentences long.
Answer: Does the literature review start with discussing the major topics/themes of the proposal?
Does the reviewer assess at least 6 peer-reviewed sources organized by key topics?
Are the sources fully discussed, leading to a clear rationale for the hypothesis/research question to be addressed in the proposed study? Explain.

research on the topic examined after reading the

Could the literature review provide evidence that the topic under examination has been misunderstood or not sufficiently examined? Explain.

Was each work critically summarized and evaluated for its methodology and findings?
Were any gaps in the literature identified?
Did the author use complete and correct citations of every source? Explain or provide examples.
Summarize the central argument or thesis of the paper, (if you can find it).
If the author’s central argument is unclear, what are some ideas for how it could be
clarified? If it is clear, try to brainstorm a few ways to make the argument more precise
or more convincing. Are there any pieces of evidence cited that are not interpreted as
fully as they could be?
