Content and Expectations. In a 5 page paper, APA or Chicago Style citations, Times Roman, 12point-double spaced, essay, discuss the relationship between social media and democracy. In your response, define social media and evaluate and analyze its sociality. Introduce the concept of democracy and civics noting how they are designed to operate. Explain why social media has transformed or left unchanged the racial, gender, and class dynamics of democracies. Assess the role that false content plays in democratic outcomes. A strong essay will discuss ideology, theory, and other concepts emphasized in the course learning content. Your essay will be judged on how well you apply critical thinking skills to the content.
