Part 1 (1000 words)
Background
Philip is an 18 year old who shares a house with some people at 16 Claughton Road, Upton Park, London, United Kingdom. He is currently recovering from a motorcycle accident which left him with a leg injury that still requires physiotherapy 3 times a week at a local hospital. Unfortunately, a consequence of the motorcycle accident is he is now going to be reliant on public transport while he saves up for a new one. Although having an injured leg makes walking a bit painful, he continues to lead a busy lifestyle – He works Monday to Friday for British Airways at London City Airport (his working hours are usually 9 – 3pm), plus he still has his social life. After work on Tuesdays and Thursdays he always heads straight from work to meet some friends at the “MangiaTutto” – a popular pizzeria on Bishop’s Bridge Road, Bayswater, where he usually stays for a couple of hours before heading back home. On Monday’s, Wednesdays and Fridays after work he has a Physio appointment at 5:00pm for his leg at The Royal London Hospital, in central London, which he needs to attend. That goes on for an hour after which, he usually just goes home. On Saturdays he goes to spend the weekend with his family in Milton Keynes – a town to the North of London. He stays there on Saturday and Sunday and on Monday morning goes direct from Milton Keynes to his work at London City Airport.
Task
Philip is a nice guy, but not the smartest person in the world so he has come to you as a transport professional to give him a travel plan that would enable him to fulfil his weekly transport requirements.
