I unfortunately have to leave for work in twenty-minutes, so I won’t be able to state here exactly what I want to do because the lecture just ended, but I do have some ideas.
I will likely focus on a Psychoanalytical piece – likely Edgar Allen Poe or a similar author. I am interested in exploring the mental health of a particular character in the effort to detail that literature is a beautiful communication method. Even unreliable narrators tell us something about our protagonist.

Research Question: How does the author, Poe, use literature as a communication method to reveal the intricacies of his character, and in turn, his own personality as an author?
