Treatment Planning Exercise (15%). Students are required to complete and submit one Treatment Plan based on a case study presented in the readings. The Treatment Plan must include the student’s name. Students will receive a blank Treatment Plan template to edit, save, and upload to the course Canvas site once completed. Course materials will describe and provide examples of how to complete Treatment Plans. Students are required to complete one Treatment Plan illustrating how they would plan optimal treatment for the person described in the case study reading.
Treatment Plans will be graded based on: their attention to multiple co-occurring disorders or conditions in each Treatment Plan section; their organization and the degree to which information in each section can be linked to information in other sections; the reasonableness, comprehensiveness, and practicality of the Objectives and Interventions; the ease with which the information can be read (brief bullets are preferred to an extended narrative); and the degree to which they conform to these instructions. Assignments submitted in a format that cannot be read by Canvas will be treated as late until a readable file is provided, so please check your submission once uploaded. Late Treatment Plans submitted after the deadline may receive up to 50% credit at best (see Assignment Policy). Grades on this Exercise will count for 15% of the final overall course grade.
