Hi this unit is called JNB154 – International Business Communication.
This is a take home exam and has questions that must be answered.
This does not necessarily have to be answered in an essay structure, no need to put intro or conclusion. Just answer the questions directly.
The exam questions are:
Question 1
a) Compare and contrast the cultures, and the communication and leadership styles of two countries of your choice based on the work of Richard D. Lewis (link attached of his work) and Geert Hofstede (link attached below of his work) .
b) Discuss how this understanding can be used to ensure effective negotiation and communication in a manufacturing joint venture between these two countries.
Question 2
a) Define organisational culture and explain why it is critical to organisational performance.
b) Explain, with examples, why the personal qualities and communication skills of leaders and managers are vital to teamwork, leadership and organisation culture in the hybrid workplace.
Requirements:
– Question numbers must be clearly shown beside each answer. – References MUST be provided in-text and in a reference list as per the Harvard style of referencing.
-Please also include a Table of Contents. However, there is NO requirement to include an abstract, introduction or conclusion within this examination.
– Needs to be 2200 words minimum
– Any sources can be used but at least 5
