The course content this week provided information regarding sustainability and CSR.
Your manager (or a future manager) needs your help to understand sustainability and CSR and asked you to prepare a memo. In the memo, (1) compare and contrast sustainability and CSR, (2) compare and contract shareholders and stakeholders, (3) share how some companies in the USA and internationally are investing in sustainability and CSR, and (4) describe how your company (or a company you would like to work for) is positioned to invest in sustainability and CSR. (Remember to focus on the course content and cite sources as needed.)
Share this information in the form of a memo. Memos are usually around 1 page. You can use a Word template or a Google Drive template to format your memo or you can get a little creative.
Some content you need to include in your memo:
Compare and contract sustainability and CSR.
Compare and contrast shareholders and stakeholders.
Describe the Triple Bottom Line.
Share how some companies in the USA and internationally are investing in sustainability and CSR.
Describe how your company (or a company you would like to work for) is positioned to invest in sustainability and CSR.
Use vocabulary associated with sustainability and CSR (i.e. stakeholder, shareholder, triple bottom line, ESG, etc.).

Terms
Sustainability: Its broad elements are social, environmental, and economic responsibility, AKA the three pillars of people, planet, and profit.
Social Enterprise: Those organizations (for profit or nonprofit) that address a basic unmet need or solve a social problem through a market-driven approach.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): In CSR, the concept of Responsibility has two sub-meanings: (1) avoiding harm to others, and (2) engaging in charitable or redistributionist activities.
Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG): The three aspects of CSR are abbreviated ESG which stands for environment, social, and governance.
