Here’s an example of an in-text citation:
(Frost 7).
If you used more than one line of a poem, you can reference the lines like this: (Frost 7-8).
Quote example with in-text citation:
““So dawn goes down to day” (Frost 7).
OR
“So dawn goes down to day / Nothing gold can stay” (Frost 7-8).
The slash represents a line break in a poem. You can use the slash in between multiple lines.
