The main objective of this request is to build and argument between two main scenarios:
The first scenario is Import substitution: which is a strategy that emphasizes the replacement of imports with domestically produced goods, rather than the production of goods for export, to encourage the development of domestic industry.
• Please use references: to prove the import of substation is not applicable for Saudi Arabia (Hints, high labor cost, international lows, and difficult to obtain new technology.)
• Use Competitiveness index (Saudi targets vs. other countries)
The second scenario is to use export loans; (for example, Saudi Arabia is to allow financing investors to open new factories in other countries to maintain the ownership of the factory increase GNP).
Many countries followed the approach of outsourcing (US planes experience (some Manufacturing automobile are in Mexico & technology)+ KDB is funding Korean investors offshore.
• Benchmark between two main development bank such as KDB and Japan bank for international cooperation and try to link between what sectors do they finance offshore with the current importation volume with the export finance products
please study how KDB is funding investors outside Korea.
Please study the countries Saudi Arabia should fund projects in (taking into consideration the Kingdom’s relationships with other countries).
