Brief Guidelines
Purpose: To enhance learning through the development of a well-reasoned debate on a given topic.
Activity Description:
Engage in a comprehensive debate that will exercise your critical thinking and communication abilities.
Analyze and articulate different viewpoints on Desegregation, fostering a balanced understanding.
Assignment Structure:
The assignment will be divided into three distinct sections:
A “Pro” argument: Present a well-supported argument in favor of the issue.
A “Con” argument: Present a well-supported argument against the issue.
A personal viewpoint: Conclude with your own perspective on the issue, drawing from your experiences and the evidence presented in the previous sections.
Each section should be one double-spaced page in length, with proper citation of sources.
Source Requirements:
While there is no set number of required sources, your arguments must be supported by at least two peer-reviewed articles.
Additional sources can include newspapers, magazines, blogs, or other reputable publications.
Ensure all sources are clearly cited within each section.
References:
Compile a separate reference page (to be the fourth page of your document) listing all sources used.

The merit of the paper will be judged on the quality and persuasiveness of the arguments presented.

The paper must be submitted in double-spaced Microsoft Word format. Font size must be 12.
