Bronfenbrenner’s Bioecological Model of Development
For this reflection paper, you will be sharing your own or made up Bronfenbrenner’s Bioecological systems. This means you will need to define each system (in your own words) but support with our textbook. Applying Bronfenbrenner’s Bioecological Model
Think of yourself at a particular time in your childhood (e.g., age 10) – list that particular age and what year it was in the introduction. Using the model from Urie Bronfenbrenner. we will be applying this to our own lives (but in the past).
Your introduction should be about you at the individual level for whatever year you have selected. This should include: age, sex and gender, and overall health.
For this paper, you should define the particular stage you are talking about and then share about your your own ‘system’ at that age. Remember to consider the impact on development as well. You can see rubric for more detail. Each system should be a new paragraph.

how your parents interacted with your peers.
how your parents interacted with your school.
whether your parents helped with schoolwork.
how your community supported your school or activities (e.g., sports).

vacations you took.
whether there was a divorce/remarriage in your family
Mass Media
Macrosystem
your ethnic heritage.
your religious affiliations.
whether you lived in an urban (city) or rural (country) setting.
your socioeconomic status (or your parents depending on age).

Gradual historical changes
