Based on the research that you have done this semester (at a minimum, you must reference the four sources that you selected to read about your topic), submit a final paper or project about your topic.
Papers should be at least 8 pages or 1500 words. The citation page (where you list the sources used for your paper) does not count toward the minimum number of pages or words. A title page (if you choose to include one) also does not count toward the minimum number of pages. Papers should be double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font. Citations may be in any format but must contain at least the following information: the author’s name, title, publication (press or journal title), year, and pages.
Students are encouraged to be creative with their final projects; consider creating a website, artwork, or other alternative methods of displaying information. The project must contain information that is equal to at least an 8-page paper. Final projects must also have a list of citations. Citations may be in any format but must contain at least the following information: the author’s name, title, publication (press or journal title), year, and pages. Citations can be incorporated into the project itself (i.e.- listed on the website or video) or a separate citation page can be uploaded to Canvas.
If you have difficulty incorporating information that is equivalent to an 8-page paper into your project itself, you should submit a short paper explaining how your project displays the information that you learned in your research along with your project. These short explanation papers would be appropriate if you, for example, created a collage, song, or poem for your final project.
