sections)
Step 2: Incorporate the articles from step 1 and develop a 4-page single-spaced (or 8 page
double-spaced) research paper that includes (but is not limited to) the following:
1. Framework and keywords
2. Introduction (i.e., the research purposes, discussion of your topics and key
variables (including at least three variables), and significance of your study)
3. Literature review – Include definitions/a discussion of
a. key concepts
b. relationships/models: reporting the association between and among key
variables; causal eKect relationships; impact of variables on management,
organization, business, or leadership development
• Identify four (4) key variables. Two of these should be independent
variables (IV). Be sure to identify which variables are independent
variables. One of these should be the dependent variable (DV). Be sure
to identify which is the dependent variable.
• Describe the association between each pair of independent variables
and dependent variable.
• Note: Please use only the suggested variables from the article reading
assignment. Although demographics (e.g., gap, gender, age, martial
status) and background information (e.g., salary, years of work
experiences, the industry) have impacts for some studies, for this
assignment, please restrict yourself from selecting these as one of the
IVs or DVs.
c. theories: include any that could help you to discuss or support any
associations between/among variables.
4. Conclusion and applications of the articles
a. Discuss major findings (reference to the Discussion, Conclusion, and
Implications of the articles you read in Step 1) and suggestions for future
managers/leaders as well as students/educators.
b. Consider the implications for management in the industry.
c. What is the significance of this research?
