For each of these questions, i will provide some brief responses to give you a better idea on how to understand the and assinment and what to write, but after that you need to go write alot more and go into deatil.
Describe the play experiences that you presented that supported the engagement of your play material: The play materials I presented were (blocks) I had to come up with an idea of an activity where the children could enjoy playing. There are many unique ways to make an activity to do with blocks, which was challenging, but finally, I came up with my activity and materials. It came out great, and the children enjoyed it as well. When assembling my play materials, I brought kid-size tables and chairs. I had put a tablecloth on it to make it nice and presentable. Then, I got a trifold mirror and placed it flat on the table. Then I picked which block I wanted for my activity, and the type of blocks that intrigued me and were the best fit was the totter tower blocks because, with the trifold mirror, it would be very entertaining for the children to play with because they are unique blocks. The unique idea of my activity is that when the children are building all sorts of towers on the trifold mirror, they can see the reflection of the blocks built downwards well.
In APA format, list the resource book/s you used to support you in planning the experience. Include at least 3 adult and 4 children’s references (including books, early childhood periodicals and pre-school picture books) on the topic. Using APA format, list any of the references that have been part of your research (all these sources and books have to do with blocks, so connect them with each other).

How did you set up the materials? What were your considerations (time, space, materials, participation)? I gave myself enough time to set up my station to make everything perfect. I had all my materials beforehand and participated in assembling everything for the children. I ensured the mirror wasn’t cracked or broken for hazards or safety issues. I made sure the chairs were good as well. I made sure I participated with the children as well if they wanted me to. provide further deatils..
Identify the steps taken to ensure the experience was open-ended and child-directed. Did you create an aesthetically pleasing environment? How so? I made the children feel welcome and comfortable to come to my station. I gave positive feedback and positive reinforcement. I was also playing with the blocks and building towers so they would be intrigued to play at my station. I also greeted them with passion and positive energy. Go into further detail…
What is the value of offering this kind of play material to children?
Any changes you’d make? Explain. I would change the area in which I chose to set up my workshop in class. I would change my space in the class. It would be more open and more in the front. I felt like many kids didn’t see my station well because I was in the back, and many other activities of my peers surrounded me. porvide further deatils..
What information might be useful to parents/specialists/educators in understanding the value of engaging with this kind of play material and supporting your efforts to provide opportunity for it in your work as an SLPA?
What educator role would you take with the children in presenting the material? Explain. I Ask positive questions of the children, don’t hover on top of them, and give positive reinforcement. go into further detail…
Any other discoveries or meaning making for you because of the workshop. I discovered that the simpler the activity is, the better the children will be intrigued by my activity’s simple instructions and play. Go into further detail…
I provided pdfs to help with the essay, as well as a picture of my station to give you a better view and idea. Let me know if you have any further questions.
