Students will then choose ONE model/approach/theory (from Chapters 7-11) that resonates most, and apply it to the current/desired leadership position. It may be necessary to include important concepts from other approaches where applicable. Additionally, students are expected to describe concepts utilizing scholarly references and/or professional resources, which include the Northouse text, to substantiate the paper’s position, and draw connections to the course learning outcomes addressed throughout the course. Further, an evaluation of professional development opportunties should be based upon analysis leadership questionnaire results. Finally, how the chosen model aligns with their faith perspective including any important ethical considerations.

Introduce the thesis and describe the organizational context of the current/desired workplace and the specific leadership role in question. Conclude with a preview the remaining sections of the paper.
Theoretical Model (suggested length – two pages)
Define and describe the theorical leadership style/model/approach/theory including all important related concepts (What does it consist of…).
Pratical Application (suggested length – one page)
Describe the practical application of the leadership style/model/approach/theory relavant to your current/desired leadership role (How does it work, especially in the context described in the Overview).
Strengths/Criticisms (suggested length – one page)
Analyze the strengths/criticisms of the chosen leadership style/model/approach/theory in the context of the current/desired workplace and the specific leadership role in question.
Professional Growth (suggested length – one page)
Based upon analysis and evaluation of the leadership questionnaire matching the chosen model, discuss opportunities for continuous development.
Faith Integration (suggested length – one page)
Discuss how the model aligns with our faith integration topic/s including any important ethical considerations.
The organization of the leadership reflection paper might follow the format of any leadership style/model/approach/theory as outlined in the Northouse text.
