Assignment Objective: Students will summarize and create a plan to implement strategies from the content of the course, researching additional information to enhance their understanding.
Assignment Prompts: Write a paper which is a synopsis of which three or four concepts stood out to you the most from this class. When considering the varied topics from the assignments and book, as well as the equitable practice/culturally responsive slants placed on them by the instructor, carefully focus on areas that you think you might use when you are out in the workforce.  Your paper should include networking links you found, good ideas from the text, lectures, peers, provided resources, other sources that you found, as well as ideas you want to continue to consider as you work with families, children, and communities in your professional future. 
You must cite and utilize in the text of your paper at least two external sources (articles, webinars, books, etc.) to enhance your main topics of focus for this assignment. These sources may not be ones that were referenced during the course, but you may find ideas on sources in the text.  All must be properly cited.
Each topic or item you include should have a well thought out explanation for your motivation to utilize the strategy or idea in the future. Give examples of how you think you might use the resources within the scope of your profession.  
Be sure to include culturally responsive and equity based methods to each topic you discuss.
