Introduction
Technology develops as a fix to the problems we encounter in daily life. The media has the potential to keep us informed as citizens of society. Both provide the opportunity to make the world feel smaller and create a global community. Sociologists also examine the impact of media and technology on society. Social stratification, the hierarchical ranking of people, groups, and social classes within society continues to be impacted by the growing influence of media and the rapid development of technology.
