Assignment
Here’s the question: what makes you laugh? For this essay, I want you to use the writing process to think through what amuses you and to compose an essay that makes a clear claim about your sense of humor that is supported through examples of something(s) that makes you laugh.
Think about what has made you laugh lately. Describing a specific example or two in vivid detail will be the most important part of this assignment, and will help you develop a good thesis that clearly answers the question of what makes you laugh.
Keep in mind that this essay will be revised to become your Analysis Essay after it is returned to you, so the more detail you provide now, the better off you’ll be in the next stage of the course.
