Accreditation Planning Exercise. Consider the benefits of accreditation for your proposed idea. Then consider which of the three major accrediting bodies would best fit with your proposed program/agency (Council on AccreditationLinks to an external site., Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation FacilitiesLinks to an external site., or The Joint CommissionLinks to an external site.). Briefly summarize why you believe this to be the best fit for your organization. Develop a two-year accreditation timeline of the key activities that will be needed for accreditation, including the following: training, meetings, support activities used to guide the accreditation process, time frames for the self-study and when site visits will occur. Finally, identify five outcomes that you believe will result from attaining accreditation.
Use APA 7th edition style which requires a title page and a reference page. Carefully proofread to catch spelling and grammar errors (it’s better to catch them now than when you have to submit the final proposal which counts for a LOT more). You should write about 2-3 pages (more is okay but not less).
