Assignment Directions:
Create an annotated bibliography comprised of two to four credible sources with annotations that you have found using the Coastline Library’s website, the internet, or a library near you.
Notes:
Each citation must have a correct MLA 8 citation. If you need a refresher on how to create an MLA 8 citation, please view the OWL Purdue MLA pageLinks to an external site..
Each citation/paragraph must be at least 200 words and summarize and evaluate your research. The last few sentences tell me how you will use, apply, this research in your essay. Please include your word count at the end of each annotation.
Document File Type
Your Annotated Bibliography must either be a Word Doc or PDF file. If you submit a Pages file, Canvas will convert it to a .txt file; thus removing all of your formatting. This will negatively impact your grade. Let me know if you need any help submitting your work!
If you submit through Google Drive, your file will be converted to either a Word Doc or PDF in Canvas.
Late Work Policy
In order to progress through the modules, you will need to view the assignments’ due dates. If you miss a due date, you have until the assignment closes to submit your work.
Submitting an assignment late has the following consequences:
Daily Penalty
One day late = -10%
Two days late = -20%
Three days late = -30%
Plagiarism
Be sure to check your originality report after it is generated. Your overall bibliography score will be impacted by the originality report as follows:
