Write a 4 page paper comparing 2 companies.
I want you to choose the 2 companies by considering what it is they’re doing right and wrong.
The first company should be a company that models what your strive to achieve as a company.
The second company should demonstrate behavior that you do not want to model.
Focus: Make sure you demonstrate knowledge from the chapters in the text. I want to see that you researched the companies from the lense of what we covered in the chapters. Employee motivation and behavior practices, leadership, decision making processes, labor relations, marketing, and consumer behavior. Does the company farm out people’s data to make a profit, change Terms of Service to take advantage of people, hold their employees to standards that are unethical. Does the company provide amazing benefits, a fair and equal workplace, is the leader a dictator or do they lead through feedback and employee investment.
Action items: I want to see you demonstrate the knowledge you have gained from chapters 7-11 of our text. I want to see you nail the APA format, make sure you are citing your sources in text. Get the header on the paper right, page numbers, and your title/name. I provided you with my paper for example.
Research: Cite 4 sources in text using APA format to build your business, it can be businesses you admire, credible research on your product/service, one of these sources can and should be your textbook,
Format Requirements
The paper is to be clear and concise, and students will lose points for improper grammar, punctuation, and spelling. The paper is to be four pages in length. The four-page requirement does not include title or reference pages; nor does it include any diagrams, graphs, tables, pictures, charts, etc., that are not pure written text. The paper should follow APA style (Times New Roman 12-point font, double-spaced, one-inch margins). Use your name as the running header for all pages and as the title of the document file. All journal articles, media, and books should be referenced according to APA style (the library has a copy of the APA Manual). Students will automatically lose points if these guidelines are not followed.
