4. Submit final paper here to include all of the information under each heading completed. Please remember to cite in APA 7th edition.  This is the 4th submission which is everything.
These were the previous 3 submissions, I will be attaching them as pdfs:
1. Submit a summary of the recent news event that you selected. Please remember to cite in APA 7th edition. Als submit the news article.
2. Submit a recent newspaper article and the name of the theory you chose to apply along with a description of the news article and theory.   Please review the theories in Chapter 6 and throughout your text. If you submit the article without selecting a theory that you will use to apply to your news article you will not receive credit. Since this is an assessment assignment I cannot tell you if your article is a good article or that you selected the correct theory. I am providing a grade only that you have completed two components of the paper. Please remember to cite in APA 7th edition.

For this assignment you will choose a recent (i.e., within the last year) news event from an appropriate article and do the following:
Identify a recent news event that depicts stereotypes, prejudice, or discrimination. Provide the article describing the event you have chosen.
Briefly describe the news event and indicate the basis of stereotype, prejudice or discrimination (example, social class, ethnicity, gender, age, race, sexual orientation, or religion).
Apply one of the social psychological theories to explain why an individual/organization in this situation was influenced by stereotypes, prejudice, or discrimination.
How does the level of social diversity in the relevant environment described in the event (e.g., family, school, work, or community) explain why discrimination occurred?
