Assignment 5: Community Change Video
Purpose: To provide a visual overview & analysis of complex problems and policies of the Service Organization and its surrounding community. Identify strengths and resources necessary to facilitate change and develop strategies and techniques for implementing changes in organizations and communities.
Video Recording Instructions:
1. Create a 3-4 min video presentation that provides a visual and audio overview and analysis of the Service Organization and its surrounding community.
2. Video presentation should include but not be limited to:
Pictures
Graphs,
Charts,
Secondary data ( Community Map)
Recorded interviews
Video clips
Assignment Presentation Instructions:
Create a 3-4 min video presentation that gives a visual and audio narrative overview of the Service Organization and its surrounding community that includes:
1. Overview of how research heightened awareness of the organization’s external environment.
2. The surrounding community’s strengths and areas still need to be developed and improved.
3. Results of Community Mapping & Windshield Survey
4. Perceptions of interviewed community leaders.
5. Major strengths and areas need to be developed within the service organization.
6. Recommendations to increase effectiveness and awareness of the social problem (s) in the service organization and surrounding community
7. APA guidelines and include a minimum of four reputable sources.
8. Include 5-10 creative, unique & authentic visual slide video presentations that may include graphs, charts & actual pictures relevant to the researched community.
