Assignment #4 has two parts: Personalized Learning (work) and a Personalized Learning reflection.
We will grade the second part of this assignment (the reflection). Make sure it is evident in your reflection that:
1. Your Personalized Learning work has met the time requirements. The time expectation for Assignment #4 is usually between 20-30 hours, depending upon the course (see your Course Assignments file(s) for specific hour requirements).
2. You have answered the reflection questions (see the attachment or your Course Assignments file).
For the Personalized Learning work (first part of Assignment #4), students in the past have integrated technology, created units of study, worked with PLCs, pursued additional research, designed, adapted, or taught lessons, etc. The possibilities are endless, but ensure your work aligns with course content.
Many coursebooks mention helpful resources, useful websites, or related concepts of interest. Spending time researching other resources or websites may be used toward the time requirement in the Personalized Learning assignment–include a mention of the time spent in your reflection.
The work done for this assignment may be a single project or a combination of endeavors. Be creative with this assignment, have fun, and ensure that the work accomplished benefits you!
In your reflection, it should be apparent that your work met the time requirement. If you feel this is not implied by the project or work reflected upon, you may specifically state how much time was spent, i.e., “I researched further articles for seven hours, met with PLCs for three hours, adapted lessons for six hours, taught lessons for four hours, explored related websites / online resources for six hours, etc.”
Your reflection should be about work that has been completed and not about work to be completed.
