However, more than 7 may be needed to meet the objectives of the Literature Review. When searching for full-text journal articles (peer reviewed) in Galileo, read the abstract to determine the value of the article. Articles could be based on qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods research.

No more than one reference from outside the United States can be used.
All references must have a Digital Object Identifier (DOI); otherwise, it cannot be used. Only peer-reviewed, scholarly journals may be used as a reference (no newspaper, blogs, commentary,
magazines, etc.). Type reference information into your reference page (do not copy and paste).
Title Page: Your title should not be a yes/no answer. For example: This is incorrect: Does a Student’s Reading Improve by Using Reading Phones? Correct: What is the Impact of Using Reading Phones on a Student’s Reading Comprehension?
Reference Page: The word References is bolded and centered with only the first letter capitalized. References should be written in written in APA style (pages 316-319 in the APA Manual). Make sure you do not capitalize each word in the article title. Only the first letter of the first word and the first letter of the first word after a colon is capitalized. Make sure you indent after the first line (use the Hanging Indent special feature in Word). Reference List Format and Order principles start on page 303 of the
APA Manual.

Directions: Use the template provided in the Week 2 Module located in GeorgiaVIEW. This will be 1-2 page (no less than one complete page).
Introduction: The introduction is whetting the appetite for the reader. You are telling the reader why you are conducting research. It may be related to personal experience or something you are interested in discussing. The introduction should include your research problem (read pages 75-76 in the APA Manual concerning the importance of framing the problem and pages 33-36 in the Mertler textbook regarding identifying a research topic or problem), purpose of the study, and significance
of your study. A minimum of 2 benefits of completing the study should be listed under the significance. Additionally, please define any key words/terms associated with the study which may need clarification (not obvious) to ensure readers fully understand their meaning. A citation
should be used to define a key word/term.
