Capital punishment is a legal death penalty ordered by the court against the violation of criminal law. The method of punishment varies from country to country, where some countries hang the prisoners until death and some shoot or give them a lethal injection. Many Americans favor the capital punishment as they believe those who have taken a life have given up their right to a life , they believe capital punishment is a just form of retribution, expressing and reinforcing the moral indignation .
