Motivation is defined as “that which moves one toward an action; that which changes, provokes, or impels our very being.” The bible speaks of motivation often. When people think motivation they usually think in the terms of monetary motivation or a pat on the back, but motivation can be internal. When we as Christians are put into the work force, why are we there? Are we suppose to be there to make money or are we there to be a light in a dark world? I think this is a good place where internal motivation comes into play particularly in health care as nurses. Provide some examples of how your work as a bed side nurse on a rehab unit is internally motivated.
