1) How are the Muslim characters represented in the Tales of the Alhambra, in the Othello of William Shakespeare, in the film Othello directed by Orson Welles, and in Orientalists paintings (one painting of your choice)? Make sure to discuss their physical and psychological features and analyze the religious and racial components that stand behind them.
2) Also, comment on why they are represented that way (meaning, what is the Western/Christian vision of these characters and how it has been constructed though the times). I recommend that instead of presenting me with a list, you use all the ideas at the same time since what I want is to see how they all correspond to basically the same construction (I give an example on the second page).

For the painting: find in the internet a painting that correspond to the style called Orientalism. It should portrait a Moor(s). Make sure to identify it by its name, its painter, and date(s). You should find (if available online) some explanation about the painting so you understand it better. You need to include the painting in your text.
