Analyze virus infection mechanisms and how different types of viruses can damage different sections of an information system.
Research Presentation:
For this assignment, please prepare an 8-10 slide PowerPoint slide presentation that you would give to a group of employees that don’t understand why this is an issue or know the difference between types of malware. How will your presentation be modified so that you get your points across or understood?
As you research this for management consider:
- What differentiates a virus from other types of malware?
- Describe each type of virus noting what it is, how it differentiates itself from other kinds and purpose
- Explore in-depth how viruses propagate, infect, conceal themselves in various system components. What computer components can be affected by viruses?
- What can be done to mitigate these risks?
*Include a cover slide, introductory slide, conclusion slide, and references slide. All of these slides will not count in your required total of slides.
