Analytic Executive Reports  Answer each question for the corresponding Chapter.

April 22, 2024

Analytic Executive Reports
Answer each question for the corresponding Chapter. For each response, I will
be evaluating how well your answers incorporate course material (in addition to
other scholarly sources you may wish to cite). Within your responses, you
should demonstrate your understanding of the meaning of the technology
terms, in addition to demonstrating your understanding of the course
material relating to (new) course concepts.
After you read the chapters from the textbook, go over the course material in
Moodle, and read expert opinions from high-quality sources, then you should be
properly informed to develop your responses to the analytic questions. You can
then state your views, with information to back them up from expert sources.
However, you will need to state the information you use in your own words (do
not use direct quotations; otherwise, it is easy to just copy and paste words that
you may not truly understand). However, by summarizing and paraphrasing what
the expert says, you are demonstrating your understanding of their words.
You should include in-text citations and a references cited page at the end of
your document (use APA format for the references). The rubric for these
assignments is available at the end of the syllabus. Submit your document
though the corresponding link in Moodle by 6 PM CST on Monday on the date
specified in the course schedule in the syllabus.
You should identify the question you are responding to, and then answer it. And
then identify the next question and then your response, etc.
When you are working as a group, you should utilize your experiences from
multiple group members and multiple group member’s organizations’ in your
response to the questions. These parts should not merely be written by one
member, but may incorporate one team member’s experiences after multiple
robust group discussions with input from the entire group. Each of the questions
should include insight and inclusion of course material from all group members.
The final paper should not read like it was written by multiple authors, but should
sound smooth and cohesive.
Your primary sources should be your textbook and other course material. You
should also incorporate references from high-quality sources such as Harvard
Business Review, Wall Street Journal, MIT Sloan Management Review, New York
Times, MIT Technology Review, strategy+business, and MIS Quarterly Executive
(these are all available online through the ULL library). I recommend that
approximately 75-90% of your sources should be from your textbook, with the
remaining references coming from other high-quality sources. When selecting a
news article, you cannot use the same article as anyone else in the class (to your
knowledge), and it is recommended that you select a recent news article from a
high-quality news source from the ULL library (not Google).
(only these sources, answer questions attached chapter 17 &8)
