An important practical component of the course is the completion of the group presentation. Students will work in groups (2-3 students) to reflect on their learning. Individual students are not allowed, only groups are allowed. This assignment will improve students’ critical thinking, problem solving, communication skills, group work skills, research skills and presentation skills. The group presentation is worth 15%.
You need to research different Information System applications, choose one of these applications and apply it in the Kuwaiti context or the MENA region. 
Some of the different sectors of the economy and applications of IS:Telecm: Zain, Oreedo,…;Banking: NBK, Boubiyam,…;Transportation : Careem, GrandLimo,…;Food services: Talabat, Carriage,..;Etc
Your presentation should cover at least the following:
• Title Slide
• Agenda (The main topics which will be presented and by whom)
• The Body of the presentation (This is the main section in your presentation)
o Explain how and why information systems are used today, and how information systems are enabling new forms of commerce between individuals, organizations, and governments.
o Competitors
o Benefits
o Challenges
• Impacts on the society/organizations/individuals/environment
• Conclusion and Recommendations
• References 
o You should have aprox 10+ slides in total
o Group can be composed of min 2 people and max 3 people.
o The presentation should be between 8-10 minutes; followed by 3-5 minute Q/A.
o The presentations will be only for the instructor and not the whole class.
o Make sure the time is divided evenly between each group member; example if it’s a group of 2 then each member presents for 5-6 min and if 3 then each for 4 min
